Brunch with a Texas Flare

One of our most beloved traditions at The Nodding Donkey Kitchen is our Saturday and Sunday brunch. You’ve had a long week. You’ve slept in. And now you’re hungry. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

The Nodding Donkey Kitchen is the perfect blend of restaurant and bar, serving impeccable food you’ve come to expect from our sister restaurant State & Allen Kitchen + Bar, but with an effortless, casual atmosphere where anyone can feel at home.

So anyway, back to brunch. The brunch menu at The Donkey is extensive, with something for everyone to enjoy.

·         Eggs: fried eggs, egg sandwiches, frittatas, scrambled eggs, omelets, eggs cooked in toast, and poached eggs. If there is a way you like your eggs cooked, we’ve got you covered. A favorite is the State & Allen Omelet, made with three fine cheeses and Tasso ham, then served with sides of purple potato and bacon hash and toast. It’s delicious.

·         Eggs not your thing? A light Granola Sundae made of granola, yogurt, and fresh fruit is a surefire hit. Or try our Chicken & Waffles, served with whipped butter and maple syrup.

·         Drink Specials: What brunch is complete without a specialty cocktail or two? During brunch hours, we serve $2.50 Mimosas and $3 Bloody Marys, Greyhounds, and Screwdrivers.  They’re sure to lift your spirits after a long, hard week.

Brunch is served from 11am – 3pm, Saturdays and Sundays. It can get crowded, but don’t worry about trying to find a parking spot. Plenty of parking is available in the adjacent parking garage, right on the corner of SMU Blvd. and Greenville Ave.

So now you have no excuse for not joining us for the best brunch in Dallas. Join us this Saturday or Sunday to see what all the fuss is about!
